1. Agreement and eligibility
SaySo is operated by Trent Olberding. By using the app, you agree to these terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms. Contact 13olberdingtm@gmail.com with questions. You must be at least 13 to use SaySo; cloud AI features are intended for adults and subject to Google's eligibility and regional restrictions. Do not use a feature for which you are ineligible.
2. Service and connectivity
SaySo creates and manages checklists, imports supported content, and offers optional voice, photo-help, and hands-free controls. Cloud AI can make mistakes and is not a substitute for professional advice or independent safety checks. Inspect generated instructions before following them, particularly for food safety, tools, exercise, and repairs.
Guest access creates an anonymous Supabase account. Lists and saved content use cloud storage even before registration. Internet access is required for account access, list saving/loading, cloud AI, imports, and purchases. Local control recognition does not make the app a fully offline task manager. Features may depend on compatible hardware, source availability, and service limits. Camera hand gestures are not enabled in this release.
3. Accounts
Keep access credentials secure and provide accurate registration information. Guest access may be lost if device credentials are lost; sign in to recover account data on other devices. You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. AI and imported content
SaySo asks for explicit permission before sending selected text, audio, photos, videos, URLs, or imported content to Google's Gemini AI. The disclosure and privacy policy explain the data and purposes. You may decline or withdraw permission in Account. Manual entry and deterministic local controls do not require cloud AI permission.
Submit only content you have the right to access and share with the services involved. Imports may be incomplete or unavailable. Do not use SaySo to bypass access restrictions, infringe copyright, or process unlawful material. Linked and embedded content remains subject to its source provider's terms.
Google may retain submitted content under its own terms; a video import may upload a file to Google. Generated steps, source links, and completion photos you save are stored with your lists.
5. Subscriptions
SaySo offers free features and optional auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions for paid features described in the app. The App Store purchase sheet shows the current localized price, period, and any introductory offer for which you are eligible. Free trials are not available to every account.
Payment is charged through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple's subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app. Deleting the app or your SaySo account does not cancel a subscription. Refund requests are handled through Apple under its applicable policies.
6. Acceptable use and ownership
Use SaySo lawfully. Do not interfere with the service, seek unauthorized access, upload malicious content, or misuse other people's information. You retain ownership of your content and authorize the processing and storage needed to provide the features you choose. SaySo's software and design remain the property of their owners. You receive a limited license to use the app under these terms and Apple's applicable license terms.
7. Privacy and third parties
Our privacy policy explains guest cloud storage, Google AI sharing, photos, local controls, feedback, analytics, diagnostics, and your choices. Providers include Supabase, Google, and Apple. Their relevant policies also apply to their services. We do not sell personal information.
8. Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available, without a promise that AI outputs are accurate or that access will be uninterrupted. To the extent allowed by applicable law, SaySo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
9. Ending use and changes
You may stop using the app and initiate account deletion in Account. Cancel subscriptions separately with Apple. We may restrict access for misuse or service/security reasons. We may update these terms by posting a revised version and date. Material changes to AI data sharing require new permission.
